My name is Alessandro, I am of Tuscan origin, and since I was a child I have been fond of the countryside for its simplicity of its life and values.
At high school I studied in the field of agriculture and then I graduated in Agronomy in Pisa. Today I personally manage the farm and the Agriturismo with my family and my close colleagues in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere .
The farm Il Selvino was abandoned from the sixties. In the nineties I started the project of recovering the estate in its architectural and agricultural aspects, trying to maintain the original structures of the three 18th century stone houses and modernizing the olive tree cultivation and the strawberry growing in the surrounding lands.
It has been thanks to the moral and financial support of my father, the precious help of my mother in the kitchen, the trust and the sustenance of my family, together with my passion and unconditional love for this Land that I was able to realize my dream of a life: the Agriturismo.
Today Il Selvino represents a prestigious estate in the territory of the Pisan hills.
It fulfills the agricultural vocation of this land in the cultivation of olive trees, vineyards and strawberries, and offers its guests a high level of comfort provided in a welcoming environment.
